The primary goal of the program is to provide education on healthy weight management, promote daily physical activity, and develop health awareness through conscious food choices that are balanced and sustainable over time.
“Balance 21” provides a jumpstart to a better overall physical and emotional sense of wellbeing by creating a healthy relationship with food and exercise. Its aim is to induce motivation, show the value of planning our days in advance, and the importance of staying consistently good and not occasionally perfect through any process of transformation in order to achieve desired results. The plan offers a simple way to get back on the healthy track or even get us on the right track for the first time through educated choices.
The secret to healthy and sustainable weight loss is to understand the right portion sizes within the food groups. Depending on each individual’s current weight and weight loss goals, the plan will address what and how much to eat without feeling hungry or deprived.
Written or digital material and information is provided with food containers in order to show the correct foods and portions. The use of the App is also recommended to track the food intake day by day. Participation in a Facebook Group is mandatory in order to receive daily communications. Accountability during the 21 days also happens by posting and interacting daily with the group.

Those interested in joining this program should be in good physical health, must be free of any medical conditions, limitations or complications (metabolic syndromes, heart or respiratory problems or concerns, musculoskeletal disorders, injuries or pain, etc.) and should consult with their doctor before signing up for this program if unsure.

In order to obtain the best possible results from the program, five to six exercise sessions of your choice should be taken seriously and completed every week. These workouts should be demanding in intensity and should seek to burn at least 400 calories daily. HIIT workouts are a very efficient way to burn the most calories in a workout. Intense cardio activities can also help in adding more caloric expenditure. Strength and endurance training are also recommended. Also, the food plan must be followed as closely as possible with no substitutions during the first two weeks.
For those who are advanced exercisers and are interested in working out with my system, I offer challenging workouts from Mondays to Fridays addressing all Fitness Components. I also teach Zumba classes 3 times per week. All classes are available both Livestream and On Demand. (Classes sold separately.)
